Freyja Growing Up

She wants to walk so much that if you let her loose outside she will just walk and walk, and if you try picking her up she will protest

A Simple News System For Basic Websites
Posted on March 10th, 2010 No commentsThis is a very simple news system with comment support which is ideal for adding simple blog/news system functionality to any website needing that kind of system. In the past I'd usually use wordpress as a pre-built solution for adding this kind of content to a site and although you get a lot of extra benefits by using wordpress (as a result of its plugin system) there can be a lot of issues with tweaking the wordpress theme to suite the site. The method of embedding this system is so simple that it can be used easily within any site template and as such it's perfect for quickly adding blogging or news system style functionality to previously static sites or E-Commerce systems where an attempt at tying in wordpress could be very messy in reference to: About The Demo » Phpns » Open Source PHP News System ( view on Google Sidewiki )

Been Busy Of Late…

Life has been busy as ever, and I’ve been working hard at Netbasic , often (much to the annoyance of Hannah ) working late. Freyja is already 7 months old, nearing 8 months now, and she’s just such a character.

The Big Blue Monster
Posted on December 23rd, 2008 No commentsAs Jasper points out , the new Ikea in Southampton is a bit of an eyesore. Hannah and I went down to Mothercare on Sunday to buy a car travel seat for the baby, and saw the big blue monster that will be Ikea in Spring 2009. The rather annoying thing is that it will be quite useful to get baby furniture, so despite being a big blue blob on Southampton’s horizon, it will actually be useful… And in other news, I’m definately turning into a father… I have a Mothercare Mothercard now.
