It’s been a little while since I talked about our little one, and my she has grown up a lot. She’s 14 months old now and she’s walking around like no tomorrow. She wants to walk so much that if you let her loose outside she will just walk and walk, and if you try picking her up she will protest

Quick Update

I’ve just found a handy free tool for managing partitions really easily in Windows 7. http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html I’d used the built in partition manager in the Windows 7 Disk Management tools to shrink my primary volume and make the second drive, but then I realised I’d made it too big and needed a couple of extra gig added back onto my C drive

This excellent animation is by director Andreas Hykade, Germany. It features glimpses of a whole host of well-known characters from Spiderman to Tweetie Pie. The music is a little bit mental, but it’s a fitting backdrop to the slick transitions of this skilled animator.

Excellent Animation – Love & Theft

It’s been over 10 years since I made this painting, and aside from a very short period spent hanging on the art room wall, it’s never really seen the light of day. It’s been resting – along with various other pieces of art from my A-level days – in a pile, under my bed. Well enough time has passed, and the Demoiselles project that I started all those years ago is being resurrected, but this time, it’s about brightening it up.

I’m sad to say it, but I found Steve Jobs’ Thoughts on Flash more interesting than the ‘political-point-scoring’ being broadcast on the BBC. I’m glad that Steve has spoken out and answered his critics so well, but I wish David and Gordon would follow Apple’s lead and get on with ‘leaving the past behind’. Political Branding I got a leaflet about Mark Hoban through the post this evening
